On Thursday 23rd April Professor Glenn Lyons, Mott MacDonald Professor of Future Mobility at UWE Bristol, alongside Michelle Wood and Brogan Macpherson of PTRC, organised a panel discussion entitled ‘The global shock of Covid-19: will it jolt the transport sector into significant change?’

The panel included Karen Agbabiaka, Chief Executive Public Realm – Islington Council, Sunita Mills, Strategic Manager Commissioning Development at Somerset Council, and Director of Transport Strategy and Analysis at Transport Scotland Alison Irvine.

The discussion lasted 90 minutes, and was described afterwards by Nik Bowyer, Associate Director (Transport Planning and Modelling) at AECOM, as ‘a great example of good-quality CPD and debate in the age of social distancing’.
