Delegates for the 2016 International Convention of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) are asked to note the following information regarding ground transportation in Montreal.
The Fairmount Queen Elizabeth Hotel does not provide private shuttle services so delegates should make their arrangements for transfer from Montreal Trudeau Airport.
For Transfer by Taxi and Limousine
You can get a taxi or limousine at the arrivals level near the central exit located in front of the cloakroom. No reservation is required. More information is available here. Taxi rates from Montreal Trudeau Airport to downtown where the hotel is located, are regulated fixed rates i.e. C$40 for taxis and C$55-60 for limos. Tips/gratuities for service are not included in the regulated rate and are recommended at 10% of fare.
For Transfer by Bus
The best bus service is the “747” service.The service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, between the Montréal-Trudeau airport and the central bus station and costs C$10. More information is available here. Passengers should exit at stop 5 on the map which is Central Station (trains) and The Fairmount Queen Elizabeth Hotel.
