My Name is Hazem, I am from Canada and I am member of the CILT North America branch of the CILT. I am the president of TAF Consultants® of Ottawa, Canada since 1989. My company provides consulting services in freight transportation particularly in Traffic Analysis and Forecasting of modal freight movements in Canada, the U.S. and Overseas.
When and why did you decided to become a member of CILT?
I became a member of CILT in 1989, the same year I created my consultation business.

What are the benefits of being a member of CILT?
One of the basic requirements of a successful consulting business is to know and encounter, as much as possible, organizations and individuals, on the national and international levels, involved in your business sector. In my case it was the Transportation and Logistics industries. CILT was the ideal national and International forum to fulfill these requirements.
What difference has being a member of CILT made to your career?
My involvement in the activities and evolutions of CILT, helped my career and consultation services evolve from regional to national and international levels.
What do you think the future holds for you and CILT?

What message would you give to someone just starting out in CILT?
I will advise him to participate as much as possible in the various CILT activities. Learn and contributes with his acquired knowledge and experiences to the evolution of the CILT.
