My name is Cyprian Moses, I am a member of CILT Tanzania, East Africa. I became a member of CILT in 2016, I felt like I should give it a shot. I found people from different parts of the world but we became one through CILT.
I am the CEO and Co – Founder of a startup called Huduma+.
My Startup Huduma+ was recognised by the United Nations Global Compact as the first Communication logistics Infrastructure Innovation for Corporates/individuals operating in different parts of the World to seamlessly communicate.
Why did you decide to become a member of CILT?
To me CILT is what I need to inspire, educate and collaborate with likeminded people in creating a prosperous world for all.
What are the benefits of being a member of CILT?
CILT is not only a professional organisation of logistics, supply chain and transport professionals, but it represents every tribe, religion, class and nationality, that makes up the beauty of CILT. So we take ownership of logistics, supply chain and transport and its future.

What do you think the future holds for you and CILT?
I am CILT, I believe in Stronger Together, no matter what my response is, I always remember this. When it comes to building strong logistics infrastructures, we are all in this together. I want to see the world where stronger together is the main embraced value for creating the world’s interconnected future. I think that is what matters most for me: the progress of the world depends on logistics services. As the global community pushes to mobilise for sustainable development by 2030, we need CILT.
What difference has being a member of CILT made to your career?
I would say I have benefited a lot from CILT, in 2017, CILT recognised me as the Young Achiever Award Finalist in Macao – China, and in 2018, CILT awarded me the Henry Spurrier Grant.
What message would you give to someone just starting out in CILT?
To me CILT is a school of life. When I say CILT is a school of life, I am talking about more than just learning, leadership and more than a logistics, supply and transport profession body. I felt hope for the first time I joined CILT. CILT is my dream team. I am CILT.
