CILT (UK) LEVEL 3 AWARD IN GREEN LOGISTICS
The CILT(UK) Level 3 Award in Green Logistics provides information to help develop better understanding of green or sustainable logistics. It provides the necessary skills and knowledge to enable learners to understand better many of the issues surrounding the subject of green or sustainable logistics. It will also help learners to develop the ability to appreciate the environmental impact of the various modes of transport, logistics and supply chain operations, reverse logistics activities and how to improve energy efficiency within the logistics and transport sectors.
Upon completion of the Level 3 Award learners can progress to the CILT(UK) Level 3 Certificate in Green Logistics qualification which will include two additional mandatory units in Business Theory and Business Application.

The qualification comprises one mandatory unit.
Green Logistics
The unit covers a wide spectrum of the green logistics and green issues topics related to the business activities in expanding markets. The unit examines an environmental impact of logistics and supply chain operations, modal considerations, energy efficiency, future trends and strategies. The unit also provides an introduction into the issues relating to managing green change and how these changes may be successfully managed and effectively monitored.
