Much has been said about the impact of Covid-19 on our world and the major disruption this has caused. This is particularly so for the supply chain. In 2020 this came on top of a decade of disruption anyway and our supply chain world is now changing faster than ever before.

One of our members from CILT Bangladesh, currently studying in Singapore, has produced a fascinating article on the unpredictability of our changed world. Khan Muhammad Saqiful Alam reviews the impacts we have observed in recent months and focuses on infrastructure, people and planning.

The good news is that despite the disruption the author says that supply chain is the winner and that, with certain behaviours and understandings we too can win in this environment.

Having just attended a CILT UK Women in Logistics webinar on relationships we found his focus on that and the people elements especially interesting. Do read the full article and see what you think…

This is an example of industry analysis from Bangladesh which we are sharing as part of our global best practice resource to help you think about and determine appropriate responses locally.
