During my 35 years in the Nigerian Army I held various Staff and Command appointments before becoming Chief of Logistics. As a professional Logistics and Transport Officer I was always involved in Logistics Planning and Human Resource Capacity Building of Middle Level Officers. I have received many medals and awards including the Distinguished Service Star and the Corp Medal of Honour, hold B.Sc, M.Sc and MBA degrees and am a Fellow of the National Defence College

While in service, I was a member of the National Council of CILT Nigeria as Army Representative and was on its Academic Board for 2 years. In 2012, I became the National President CILT, Nigeria and was re-elected in 2014. In March, 2015 at the Africa Forum in Arusha, Tanzania I was truly honoured to be elected IVP for Africa and Chairman, Africa Forum.  I consider the appointment a serious challenge and am focused on the growth and development of  CILT in the Africa region. My priority areas are  membership, education and professional development at all levels.
