The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s (CILT) Women in Logistics and Transport (WilAT) group shared their Annual Report for the period September 2015 – May 2016 with delegates at the Annual International WiLAT conference this week.
The WiLAT conference was held on the first day of CILT’s International Convention on Sunday 8 May 2016 at Le Reine Elizabeth Hotel (Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel) in Montreal
Global Convenor for WiLAT, Aisha Ali Ibrahim welcomed delegates, and Regional Co-ordinators Nadia Abdul Aziz, Gayani de Alwis and Sharifah Halima joined Aisha to discuss the WiLAT strategic thrusts of Leadership, Mentorship, Empowerment and Social Responsibility
Delegates were delighted to hear from Guest speakers Fiona Murray, Vice-President Industrial Products, CN, who spoke about Women and Success and Sherry Romanado, Chairperson of Rail Caucus
Conference concluded as country groups gave their individual reports to conference
