The Constitution for Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT) Africa Region was formally adopted at Africa Forum 2016
The constitution was formulated by Mfon Usoro FCILT , Legal Advisor to WiLAT Africa, and her legal committee. Countries present for the signing ceremony were WiLAT Nigeria, WiLAT Ghana, WiLAT South Africa, WilAT Zambia and WiLAT Mauritus.
The signatures were witnessed by CILT International President Elect, Kevin Byrne; Secretary General, Keith Newton; Chairman of the Africa Forum, Gen Usman rtd; and Aisha Ali Ibrahim WilAT Founder and Global Convenor
At the conference Dr Doreen Owusu-Fianko was appointed as Regional Co-ordinator for Africa, taking over from Lizzie Ovbude who has been in post for the past 2 years
