I have been a Member of CILT for many years, since joining, as a student member in South Africa where I completed an Honours Degree in Logistics Management, and started my professional career with ABI. After moving to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2006 as Shipping and Inventory Manager at Aujan Industries I joined Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in 2008 and moved to Dubai where I was selected to take part in Hellmann’s inaugural Global International Logistics Management Leadership Development Program (ILM).

During this time, I was a finalist for the CILT International Young Achiever of the Year Award, represented Young Professionals in UAE and was a member of the International YP Committee as Regional Ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa region.

After nine years in the Middle East, I have now moved to a  new opportunity to further strengthen and develop the Contract Logistics 3PL product of Hellmann Australia, and am becoming actively involved with CILT in Australia.

As YP Regional Ambassador I aim to bring all of my International knowledge and experience to bear for the benefit of the institute. The friendship and support of my CILT colleagues not only gives me a sense of familiarity and comfort, but also provides me with a network of like-minded experts who are ever-willing to answer any questions I have, and who can point me in the right direction.”
